Our Fruit
"Peaches in the Summertime, Apples in the Fall..."

If you've never tried the delicious, fresh fruit from the Moutoux Orchard, you're missing out on one of summertime's sweetest treasures.  We are most well known for our outstanding peaches, our main crop. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the ripest, highest-quality fruit and produce. All our fruit and vegetables are hand picked by the family and sold locally.

We are committed to low-impact, environmentally friendly, sustainable agriculture. We are very conscience of our fuel use, and now use home-brewed biodiesel in our tractors. Our vegetables and berries are grown without the use of pesticides, and we minimize the use of pesticides on our fruit trees. Through effective pruning, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, and increased time intervals between sprays, we estimate that we spray only half to two-thirds of what most mid-Atlantic fruit growers spray. We are also looking to establish an organic apple orchard by planting disease resistant varieties.

Where to Find Us

Our peaches are available to our customers at the Potomac Vegetable Farm stand located in Vienna, Virginia on Route 7, about 3 miles west of the Dulles Toll Road. We will set up our peach stand there every Saturday from 10-3 and every Sunday from 11-3 throughout peach season, which is generally mid-July to mid-September.
